Firefighters Saturday knocked down an attached garage fire at a single-story home in San Pedro, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched to 829 W. Hamilton Ave. at 10:45 a.m. had the fire out within 11 minutes and were able to prevent the blaze from extending into the residence, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
