A 60-year-old man was identified Thursday by county authorities as the person killed in a crash in the Arcadia area.

Wyatte Evans, whose city of residency was not immediately available, was identified by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.

The crash that killed Evans was reported at about 4:45 a.m. Wednesday on the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway near Baldwin Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The westbound lanes were closed while an investigation was conducted into the circumstances of the crash.
