Firefighters Sunday knocked down a detached garage fire in the rear of a single-story home in Wilmington, which partially extended into the structure’s attic, authorities said.
The department dispatched 32 firefighters to 426 N. Neptune Ave. at 10:26 a.m. They had the blaze out at 10:43 a.m., said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
