It took 31 Los Angeles firefighters 16 minutes to put out flames in an apartment on the top floor of a three-story Mid-Wilshire apartment building Friday evening.
The fire was reported at 10:10 p.m. at 5357 W. San Vicente Blvd., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Margaret Stewart.
The firefighters managed to contain the fire to the unit of origin, Stewart said.
They searched the unit twice and found no one inside, she said. No injuries were reported.
