Firefighters have contained a fire at a textile dyeing and finishing company Tuesday in Los Angeles.
Fire crews responded at 2:26 a.m. to MatchMaster Inc., a two-story commercial building at 3700 S. Broadway St., said Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
The fire was classified as a ”structure fire with a hazmat component,” Stewart said.
Firefighters fought the blaze with flames within the scrubber system – air pollution control devices that control gaseous emissions – that was being held in check by fire sprinklers.
Stewart said no injuries were reported.
No further details were available.
