A man believed to be armed was barricaded in the Quartz HIlls area near Lancaster Monday.
Deputies were sent to the 42000 block of 61st St. West about 9:15 a.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Personnel from the sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau were notified, and crisis negotiators were sent.
