County authorities Thursday revealed the identity of a man who died in a freeway crash in Cerritos.
Teddy Faile, 60, is the man who was killed in the crash, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.
Officers with the California Highway Patrol responded at 11:24 p.m. Tuesday to the westbound Artesia (91) Freeway east of Pioneer Boulevard where they found a two-vehicle collision involving a big rig and another vehicle, according to a CHP spokesman.
Faile was pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision forced the closure of all lanes of the freeway for several hours.
According to the coroner’s office, Faile died of blunt force trauma injuries suffered in the collision.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
