A motorist escaped with only complaints of pain when his car was wedged between a tree and a structure wall during a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Baldwin Park, authorities said.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 1 a.m. to the 13400 block of East Garvey Avenue, where the driver had to be extricated from his vehicle, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
“The vehicle was wedged between a wall and a tree,” said a watch commander at the Baldwin Park Police Department, adding that the motorist was taken to an area hospital with complaints of pain.
