California Highway Patrol began a pursuit of a motorcycle for speeding in Rancho Cucamonga early Sunday morning.
The pursuit began at around 1:09 a.m., according to the CHP.
The motorcyclist refused to stop and reached an estimated 120 miles per hour on freeways, according to the CHP.
The rider drove onto sidewalks while in Downtown Los Angeles.
An air unit lost track of the rider around Figueroa Street and Exposition Park Drive, the CHP reported.
The rider remains at large.
