A 42-year-old man who was killed in a head-on, two-vehicle crash in South Los Angeles was identified by county authorities Saturday.

Giovanni Wite died of multiple blunt force traumatic injuries, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 1:11 a.m. March 18 to the 1900 block of West Florence Avenue where two people were trapped inside two vehicles, authorities said.

Paramedics rushed the other person to a hospital, Humphrey said. No further details were released on that person’s condition.

Keynews.tv reported that the crash was head-on and said the person rushed to a hospital suffered major injuries.
