A motorist was seriously injured Wednesday when he lost control of his SUV and overturned on a Temescal Valley street.
The crash happened around 1:25 p.m. on Knabe Road, near Desert Acacia Lane, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The agency said the Toyota 4Runner was traveling at high speed when it went out of control and rolled at least twice on the four-lane road, losing two wheels in the process.
Corona Fire Department crews reached the location minutes later and discovered the driver, whose identity was not released, trapped in the wreckage.
Firefighters extricated the victim a short time later. He was taken to a regional trauma center for treatment of major injuries.
Knabe was partially shut down while the CHP conducted a preliminary investigation and the wreckage was cleared.
