A magnitude 3.0 earthquake struck near Fontana at 2:54 a.m. Tuesday, according to reports from the U.S. Geological Survey.
It was centered 2.4 miles northwest of Fontana and 5.1 miles northwest of Bloomington.
It was about a mile deep.
The quake was centered 5.6 miles west of Rialto and 7.2 miles north of Glen Avon.
There was no report of injuries or damage.
