A crash on the connector road between the northbound Long Beach (710) freeway and the westbound Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway in the Harbor Gateway area left one car overturned and the connector road temporarily shut down.
The multi-vehicle crash happened around 5:10 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP requested the Los Angeles County Fire Department because smoke was showing from one of the involved cars.
A SigAlert was issued by the CHP at 6:15 p.m., the department reported. The road will be shut down for an unknown amount of time.
It was unclear if anyone was injured.
