A 49-year-old pedestrian who was struck and killed while crossing lanes on the Ventura (101) Freeway in Woodland Hills was identified Wednesday.
A witness told the California Highway Patrol just before 3 a.m. Monday, Arturo Leon Dominguez was walking across lanes on the eastbound Ventura Freeway, just west of De Soto Avenue.
Dominguez, who was identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office, was struck and pronounced dead at the scene, the CHP said.
A SigAlert was issued shutting down two eastbound lanes and the Canoga Avenue on-ramp to the eastbound Ventura Freeway.
