The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose Wednesday for the sixth consecutive day, increasing 1.8 cents to $4.62.
The average price has risen 8.1 cents over the past six days, including 2.2 cents Tuesday, according to figures from the Automobile Club of Southern California. It is 8.1 cents more than one week ago and 5.4 cents higher than one year ago but 13.5 cents less than one month ago.
The average price has dropped $1.874 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price also rose for the sixth consecutive day, increasing 2 cents to $4.574. It has risen 14.4 cents over the past six days, including 4.4 cents Tuesday. It is 14.1 cents more than one week ago and 7.6 cents higher than one year ago but 8.6 cents less than one month ago.
The Orange County average price has dropped $1.885 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose for the third consecutive day after remaining unchanged for back-to-back days, increasing 1.6 cents to $3.141. It is 4.5 cents more than one week ago and 2.9 cents higher than one month ago, but 36.4 cents less than one year ago.
The national average has dropped $1.875 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
