One person was killed and five others were being evaluated by paramedics as a result of a two-vehicle collision on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in the University Park area.
The crash happened around 3:05 p.m. Sunday on the westbound 10 Freeway at Hoover Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
No information has been released at this point about the age and gender of the deceased. The person’s name was withheld pending notification to next of kin.
