An 80-year-old man who went missing in Los Angeles was located Saturday afternoon shortly after the California Highway Patrol issued a Silver Alert.
Mario Ramirez was previously last seen about 9 p.m. Friday at East 84th Street and Stanford Avenue, according to the CHP.
Details about how and where Ramirez was located were not available.
A Silver Alert is activated when an elderly, developmentally or cognitively impaired person is missing and determined to be at risk to aid in their swift recovery.
