The California Highway Patrol Saturday issued a Silver Alert to help locate an 80-year-old man who went missing in Los Angeles.
Mario Ramirez was last seen about 9 p.m. Friday at East 84th Street and Stanford Avenue, according to the CHP.
Ramirez is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a blue shirt and gray pants.
Anyone who sees Ramirez or knows his whereabouts should dial 911.
A Silver Alert is activated when an elderly, developmentally or cognitively impaired person is missing and determined to be at risk to aid in their swift recovery.
