The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose Wednesday four-tenths of a cent to $4.782, a day after it dropped one-tenth of a cent.

The average price is 1.7 cents less than one week ago, 21.8 cents less than one month ago and 13.4 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.712 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price rose 1.4 cents to $4.70, a day after increasing eight-tenths of a cent and ending six straight days of decreases.

It is a half-cent less than one week ago, 20.6 cents less than one month ago and 14.8 cents lower than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped $1.759 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price rose 1.2 cent to $3.513. It is 1.9 cents more than one week ago, but 1.9 cents less than one month ago and 2.2 cents less than one year ago.

It has dropped $1.503 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
