A few dozen pro-Palestinian demonstrators briefly walked on the Hollywood (101) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles Thursday.
The group began with a march at Gloria Molina Grand Park, later moving into the Grand Central Market, according to video from the scene.
They began walking on the freeway later Thursday afternoon, some chanting “intifada!” One demonstrator appeared to burn a United States flag.
The California Highway Patrol responded, according to reports from the scene, but no arrests were immediately reported.
The demonstrators left the freeway by about 6 p.m.
