The California Highway Patrol Saturday issued a Silver Alert to help locate a 76-year-old woman missing from Van Nuys.
Geraldine Hunter was last seen at 1:45 p.m. Friday at Vose Street and Van Nuys Boulevard, according to the CHP.
She is believed to be on foot, officials said.
Hunter is Black, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 180 pounds, with white hair and blue eyes, wearing a gray hat, blue sweater and black pants.
Anyone with information was asked to call 911.
The CHP activates a Silver Alert when an elderly, developmentally, or cognitively impaired person is missing and determined to be at-risk to help locate them quickly.
