The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose seven-tenths of a cent Wednesday to $4.572, a day after rising two-tenths of a cent.
The average price is 1 cent less than one week ago, 16.4 cents less than one month ago and 66.5 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.922 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price rose 1 cent to $4.497, a day after rising four-tenths of a cent. It is a half-cent less than one week ago, 15.5 cents less than one month ago and 69.5 cents less than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped $1.962 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose one-tenth of a cent to $3.445, a day after rising one-tenth of a cent.
It is 1.4 cents less than one week ago, 7.7 cents less than one month ago and 40.6 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.571 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
