Two lanes on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Pasadena were temporarily blocked Monday due to an unknown slippery substance spilled on the road.
At around 2:30 p.m. Monday, the California Highway Patrol issued a Sigalert on the westbound freeway by Lake Avenue, due to what was described as a “road hazard.”
Crews were working to clear the road of the substance, according to the CHP.
No further information was immediately available.
