The Los Angeles County Department of Health Services Saturday sought the public’s help to identify a woman who has been hospitalized at one of its facilities.

The woman was brought to Los Angeles General Medical Center on Tuesday. She was found near Sixth Street in downtown Los Angeles, according to hospital officials.

She was described as a 5-feet 6-inch tall Black woman, approximately 45 years old, weighing 98 pounds with black thin braids and brown eyes. She had no identifiable marks or tattoos.

Anyone knowing her identity was urged to call social worker Cesar Robles, weekdays, at 323-409-6884, or the hospital’s Department of Social Work, weekdays, at 323-409-5253. During other hours, generally from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. weekdays, or on weekends, tipsters may contact the Department of Emergency Medicine, Social Work Department, at 323-409-6883.
