One person was killed and at least one other person was injured Wednesday morning in a fiery two-vehicle crash involving an SUV and a Mini Cooper on the Harbor (110) Freeway in South Los Angeles.

The crash occurred at about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday on the northbound freeway at West Florence Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

At least one person was transported to a hospital, according to the CHP’s Traffic Incident Information Page.

A Sigalert issued at 7:12 a.m. closing the express lanes of the northbound freeway for at least two hours was canceled at 10:22 a.m.
