Authorities asked for public help Thursday in identifying a male patient who has been hospitalized at Los Angeles General Medical Center since Friday.

The patient was admitted to the hospital after being involved in a pedestrian-versus-vehicle collision. It was unclear where the accident happened.

The man was described as white, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 182 pounds. He has salt-and-pepper hair and blue eyes. He is believed to be about 70 years old.

Anyone with information regarding his identity was urged to contact clinical social worker Nicole Crayon at 323-409-3877 from Wednesday to Saturday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., or Jessica Barahona at 323-409-3758 from Sunday to Wednesday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., or the hospital’s Department of Social Work at 323-409-5253.
