The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County was unchanged Monday at $4.662, a day after rising two-tenths of a cent. It dropped 18 times in the previous 20 days.
The average price is 4.1 cents less than one week ago, 11.7 cents less than a month ago and 29.6 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.832 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price dropped four-tenths of a cent to $4.619, a day after dropping three-tenths of a cent. It is 4.1 cents less than one week ago, 13.7 cents less than a month ago and 29.1 cents less than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped $1.84 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price rose two-tenths of a cent to $3.078, a day after dropping three-tenths of a cent. It is 1.1 cents less than one week ago, 8.3 cents less than one month ago and 38.3 cents less than one year ago.
The national average price has dropped $1.938 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
