Authorities were on the hunt for an incarcerated person who removed his GPS device and walked away from a Male Community Reentry Program in Los Angeles Saturday.

Around 11:30 a.m. Saturday, officials were alerted of 32-year-old Dijon Barber removing his tracking device, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.

Barber was described as 6 feet tall, about 240 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black-and-brown hoodie, black sweats and black sandals.

Barber was received on March 18, 2004 when was sentenced to four years for first-degree robbery, theft/embezzlement from elder/dependent adult and grand theft of a person.

Anyone who sees Barber or has information of his whereabouts was asked to call 911, or Special Agent Rene Ramos at 909-322-8197.
