A ticket with all six numbers in Friday evening’s multi-state Mega Millions lottery draw was sold in Ohio and the player has the option of receiving $112 million in 30 graduated annual installments or a lump sum cash payment of $49.3 million before federal taxes.
The numbers drawn Friday were 5, 13, 15, 17, 28 and the Mega number was 1. It was the seventh drawing since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
Under rule changes that went into effect with the April 8 draw, the odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 290,472,336, according to the Mega Millions Consortium, which conducts the game.. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 23.
There were no tickets sold with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, according to the Mega Millions Consortium.
The Mega Millions game is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. Virgin Islands.
The jackpot for Tuesday’s drawing will be $50 million.
