One person was killed and one person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision Saturday on a freeway in Glendora.
California Highway Patrol officers were called at 3:57 a.m. Saturday to the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway at Sunflower Avenue, where they found several vehicles, including a black Ford F150, blocking multiple lanes of the freeway after the collision, CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City New Service.
The victim — whose name, age and gender were not known — was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel.
Paramedics dispatched to the scene at 3:58 a.m. rushed one person to a hospital, according to a Los Angeles Fire Department public information officer. That person’s condition was not known.
The CHP reported debris from the collision was scattered along all lanes of the freeway.
A Sigalert issued at 4:13 a.m. for the closure of all lanes of the westbound freeway was canceled around 9 a.m.
