One person was killed and one person was injured in multi-vehicle collision Saturday in Glendora.
California Highway Patrol officers were called at 3:57 a.m. Saturday to the westbound Foothill (210) freeway and Sunflower Avenue where they found several vehicles, including a black Ford F150, blocking multiple lanes of the freeway after the collision, CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City New Service.
The victim — whose name, age and gender were not known — was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel.
Paramedics dispatched to the scene at 3:58 a.m. rushed one person to a hospital, according to a Los Angeles Fire Department public information officer. That person’s condition was not known.
The CHP reported debris from the collision was scattered along all lanes of the freeway.
Kravig said the CHP issued a SigAlert at 4:13 a.m for the closure of all lanes of the westbound freeway for an unknown duration.
