The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped Wednesday for the 15th consecutive day, falling 1.3 cents to $4.671, its lowest amount since March 26.
The average price has dropped 13.5 cents over the past 15 days, including nine-tenths of a cent Tuesday, according to figures from AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It is 5.6 cents less than one week ago, 12.7 cents less than one month ago and 20.1 cents less than one year ago.
It has dropped $1.822 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price dropped for the 15th time in 16 days, decreasing 1.4 cents to $4.579, its lowest amount since Feb. 7. The Orange County average is 6.1 cents less than one week ago, 16.2 cents less than one month ago and 18.5 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.879 since rising to a record $6.458 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price increased three-tenths of a cent to $3.124, breaking a streak of five consecutive decreases. It is 2 cents less than one week ago, 1.1 cents less than one month ago and 31.7 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped $1.892 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
