Los Angeles General Medical Center asked for the public’s help Wednesday in identifying a man believed to be in his 30s who was found unconscious in downtown Los Angeles and later hospitalized.

The man was discovered face down near Agatha and Crocker streets in the Skid Row area of downtown Los Angeles Tuesday and brought to the hospital, according to staff.

He is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 139 pounds, with a shaved head. Hospital officials said his head was shaved due to an unspecified injury. No further identifying details were available.

Anyone with information about the man’s identity was urged to contact clinical social worker Nicole Crayon at 323-409-3877 (Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or clinical social worker Jocelyn Mayo at 323-409-4453 (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).

The hospital’s Department of Social Work can also be reached at 310-409-5253. After-hours calls should be directed to the Emergency Medicine Social Work Department at 323-409-6883, and weekend on-call support is available at 323-409-5254.
