The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped one-tenth of a cent Sunday to $4.464, one day after decreasing eight-tenths of a cents.

The average price is four-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 10.1 cents lower than one month ago and 14.2 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from AAA and the Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has dropped $2.029 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The Orange County average price dropped one-tenth of a cent to $4.411, one day after a decrease of six-tenths of a cent ended a streak of three consecutive increases totaling 1.3 cents.

The Orange County average price is four-tenths of a cent less than one week ago, 9.3 cents lower than one month ago and 12.1 cents below what it was one year ago. It has dropped $2.047 since rising to a record $6.458 on Oct. 5, 2022.

The national average price dropped two-tenths of a cent to $3.15 after four consecutive increases totaling 1.6 cents, including one-tenth of a cent Saturday. It is a half-cent more than one week ago, but 1.2 cents less than one month ago and 32.8 cents lower than one year ago.

The national average price has dropped $1.866 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
