An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 struck 12.5 miles north of Beaumont Thursday evening, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
There were no immediate reports of damage, according to the Beaumont Police Department with no one at its station feeling the earthquake.
The earthquake’s depth was 12 kilometers, according to the USGS.
