One person was killed Saturday in a three-vehicle crash on the Long Beach (710) Freeway in Paramount.
California Highway Patrol officers were called at 2:55 a.m. Saturday to the Rosencrans Avenue off-ramp and the northbound 710, where they found the vehicles — including a white Ford Explorer and a white sedan — were involved in the crash, a CHP spokesman told City News Service.
The victim, whose name, age and gender were not released, was pronounced dead at the scene. Debris from the crash was scattered over multiple lanes of the freeway.
A Sigalert issued at 4:11 a.m. closing two lanes of the freeway at the Rosecrans Avenue off-ramp was canceled at 5:41 a.m., the CHP said.
