A 3.5-magnitude earthquake rattled the ocean off of the South Bay area Sunday evening.
The earthquake struck about 9:40 p.m. Sunday in the Pacific Ocean 14.3 miles south-southwest of Rancho Palos Verdes, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. It was at a depth of about 6.8 miles.
As of 10 p.m., no one had reported feeling the earthquake to the U.S.G.S. “Did You Feel It?” website.
