Caltrans reminded motorists Tuesday of upcoming weekend closures of lanes and ramps along the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway in Pico Rivera for paving work.

The closures will take place from Telegraph Road to south of Slauson Avenue between Friday night and early Monday morning.

The lane closures are as follows:

— The northbound 605 will be reduced to one lane from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Saturday, to two lanes from 4 a.m. Saturday to 11 p.m. Sunday, and to one lane from 11 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.

With regard to ramps:

— The northbound 605 off-ramp to eastbound Telegraph Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday.

— The northbound 605 off-ramp to westbound Telegraph Road will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday.

— The northbound 605 Telegraph Road on-ramp will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday.

— The northbound Interstate 5 connector ramp to northbound 605 will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday.

— The southbound I-5 connector ramp to northbound 605 will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday.

The work is part of the $260 million Super 605 freeway corridor projects to rehabilitate the freeway from Long Beach to the San Gabriel Valley. There will be more 55-hour extended weekend lane reductions scheduled through 2026.
