An at-risk 63-year-old woman who went missing in an unincorporated area bordering Compton, prompting the issuance of a Silver Alert, has been located, authorities said Wednesday.

Lahavey Hill was last seen at approximately 2 p.m. last Thursday near South Cahita Avenue and East 148th Street in West Compton, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Hill has since been located, but details about when or where she was found were not provided.

The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
