Things are dire out there. Two former coworkers unalived themselves since May. Like myself, they were laid off from the tech industry. There are thousands of us out there and can’t survive on unemployment and pay rent, eat, and have health insurance in California. The math isn’t mathing. Desperation haunts many of us right now. I don’t know this man’s plight, but I can say I’ve felt hopeless, too, in the wake of this administration and its capitalist monsters. I hope this man gets the help he needs and his friends and family (if he has them) can support him in his recovery.
