Weekend overnight lane reductions on the southbound San Gabriel River 605 Freeway in Baldwin Park begin Friday evening.

There will be no full freeway closures associated with the closures, which are being done to allow paving work to continue.

The closures on southbound I-605 are as follows for Friday to Monday:

The southbound 605 will reduced to one lane from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Saturday, to two lanes from 4 a.m. Saturday to 11 p.m. Sunday and again to one lane from 11 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday.

As for ramps, the southbound 605 Valley Boulevard off-ramp will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday; the westbound Valley on-ramp to the southbound 605 will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday; and the eastbound Valley on-ramp to the southbound 605 will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday.

Additionally, the eastbound connector of the San Bernardino (10) Freeway to the southbound 605 will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday and the westbound 10 to the southbound 605 will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.

There will be more 55-hour extended weekend lane reductions scheduled through 2026.
