One person was killed in a collision on the Harbor (110) Freeway Saturday that prompted the issuance of a SigAlert.

One person was killed in a multi-vehicle traffic collision around 1:30 a.m. on the southbound Harbor just north of Slauson Avenue, a California Highway Patrol spokesperson said.

The CHP closed southbound lane Nos. 2, 3 and 4 and issued a SigAlert that is scheduled until 7:52 a.m.

Details on the victim were not available. It was unclear if there were any other injuries involved in the crash.

  1. Just before the accident we saw a white car speeding, recklessly changing lanes. In less than a minute red lights and traffic backed up. I knew he had caused an accident.
    A Corvrette slammed into the center divider, on the right a beige car on its top.
    Also to the right were 4 cars pulled over and people getting out that may have been involved. He got away, but not from God.
