Overnight lane closures are scheduled to begin Monday evening on Pacific Coast Highway south of Topanga Canyon Boulevard as crews continue work on a $15 million slope repair project.
Only one lane will be open in each direction of PCH between Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Coastline Drive from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly through Friday, according to Caltrans.
Crews will “reconstruct the embankment with geosynthetic reinforcement,” install rock slope protection and rebuild portions of the roadway, Caltrans said.
The work is part of an ongoing slope repair project that is expected to continue through spring 2027.
Motorists should expect delays while the overnight lane restrictions are in effect.
