A 22-year-old man from Oceanside was sentenced to nine months in jail and five years of formal probation on Wednesday for his guilty pleas to pimping and pandering a woman he became reacquainted with through Facebook.
According to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, Javious Demetrius Fogle began communicating on Facebook with a 23-year-old Jane Doe he had known before.
Fogle told her he would pay off any debts and make a great deal of money for her. He drove her to Orange County to engage in commercial sex. He rented motel rooms and had her post advertisements on a website known for prostitution.
Fogle was arrested on May 6 at an Anaheim motel.
Fogle pleaded guilty to a count of conspiracy to commit pimping.
