A 44-year-old man who was struck and killed on his birthday by a truck as he crossed the street in Santa Ana was identified Thursday by the Orange County coroner’s office.
Juan Dominguez was hit by the pickup truck at 7:37 a.m. Monday, outside 1404 S. Richey Street and died later at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana, according to police.
It’s unknown whether Dominguez was walking in a crosswalk when he was struck. Police have not yet disclosed if the driver was cited or arrested.
