An 83-year-old man fatally struck Thursday while crossing Main Street in Santa Ana was identified.
Gregorio Nolasco was struck in the 300 block of South Main Street about 5:50 a.m. Thursday and died shortly afterward, according to Santa Ana police and the Orange County coroner’s office.
Cpl. Anthony Bretagna said the man was not in a crosswalk as he walked west to east across Main Street, and the Cadillac driver who struck him waited at the scene for police.
