A man struck and killed by an Amtrak train in Santa Ana was identified early Wednesday as 28 year-old Jose Gonzalez.
He was identified by the Orange County Coroner’s Office, which described the southbound train as belonging to Amtrak, and not Metrolink, as reported at the time.
Gonzalez was struck about 7:40 p.m. Monday at on the line just north of East Fourth Street and died at the scene, Capt. Steve Concialdi of the Orange County Fire Authority said.
