A motorist died and two others suffered serious injuries in a collision in Fountain Valley Thursday.
The two-car collision happened about 3:20 p.m. at Foster Street and Talbert Avenue, according to Fountain Valley police.
A Ford Explorer eastbound on Talbert collided with a Chevrolet Cobalt whose driver was turning from northbound Foster Street to westbound Talbert, according to police.
The Cobalt’s driver was declared dead at the scene, and a female passenger was taken to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The Explorer’s driver was taken to an area hospital with serious but non- life threatening injuries, police said.
