At least one person was hurt in a four-vehicle crash on the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway Monday near Bristol Street.
Costa Mesa firefighters freed the crash victim and took him or her to a hospital.
The crash happened about 12:13 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol Officer Denise Quesada. The carpool and fast lanes were closed as firefighters tended to the victim, Quesada said.
