Autopsies were pending on the body of a man found Wednesday in an Anaheim flood control drainpipe and the body of a man found Tuesday night in a flood control basin about a mile away off Crescent Avenue.
The body of the man found Tuesday showed evidence of blunt force trauma, according to sheriff’s detectives, who are assisting Anaheim police in the investigations.
Hours later, police arrested Kornell Randen King, 27, on suspicion of murder, the Orange County Register reported. Sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Hallock told the newspaper King lived in an apartment in the same area where the man’s body was found, and the two apparently got into a fight.
The other body, found shortly after noon Wednesday, was in a drainpipe along the westbound Riverside (91) Freeway, authorities told the Orange County Register.
